General Information for voter registration in Connecticut
Qualifications
To register to vote in the State of Connecticut, an individual must:
- Be a United States citizen
- Reside in the state of Connecticut
- Be at least 17 years old (and turning 18 in the same year prior to an election)
- Have completed confinement and parole if previously convicted of a felony and have had your voting rights restored by the Registrar
- Have not been legally declared "mentally incompetent" by a court
